We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team! This vital role combines the precision of managing financial records with the organization of daily office operations. Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting and payroll software
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management review
- Handle invoicing, billing, and expense tracking to ensure timely payments and proper documentation
- Prepare VAT returns and process weekly payroll
- Track outstanding sales invoices and chase late payments
- Serve as an integral point of contact for inbound telephone calls and email enquiries
- Receive incoming enquiries and liaise with logistics planning to support customer service requirements
Requirements
- Hands-on proficiency with Xero Accounting and Payroll (or transferable skills from cloud platforms like Sage Cloud or QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office environment
- Effective communication skills for liaising with team member, customers and suppliers
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
- Prior experience in office administration or administrative support is preferred
