We are seeking a highly motivated Solar Power Systems Engineer to join our innovative renewable energy team. Duties
- Design and develop solar power systems, including layout planning and system optimisation
- Conduct site assessments to determine feasibility and optimal system placement
- Oversee installation processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and technical specifications
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components effectively
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators for site preparation and system installation
- Perform welding tasks where necessary for structural support or system components
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines
- Document project progress, create technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience with electrical systems and mechanical engineering principles relevant to solar power projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and excavators for construction activities
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Prior experience working with electrical components within renewable energy systems is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields are preferred

Pay: £40,000.00-£70,419.18 per year
