Barnard and Brough Nissan ( Part of the Yeomans group ) are looking for a Sales Manager to lead there team in Haywards Heath
Are you an ambitious Transaction Manager, Business Manager, or Sales Controller who is ready to take the next step into a full Sales Manager role? Or are you an established Sales Manager looking for a dealership culture that actually rewards performance and offers genuine career progression?
We are seeking a commercially sharp, high-energy Sales Manager to lead our franchise sales team.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk job—we are looking for a hands-on sales leader who thrives on the showroom floor, loves driving volume and margin, and takes pride in coaching a team to win.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Sales Manager, you will take total operational ownership of the retail sales function across new and used vehicles, driving profitability, stock turn, and customer retention:
- Stack deals, manage second-facing, and ensure 100% control over profitability, F&I penetration, and value-added product attachment.
- Drive, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Trainees, conducting daily morning huddles and weekly performance pipeline reviews.
- Fully responsibility for purchasing of stock while ensuring 100% digital imagery compliance within target lead times, and optimize pricing.
- Own the showroom and digital diary. Maximize CRM conversion rates, e-Master renewals, and outbound video follow-ups to ensure high weekend appointment banks.
- Drive retail sales volume to consistently exceed franchise manufacturer targets and secure maximum quarterly bonus payouts.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Either an experienced well established Sales Manager that enjoys colleague and customer interactions at all stages of the sales process or an Up-and-Comer who is currently a successful Transaction Manager, Business Manager, F&I Manager, or Sales Controller with a proven track record of desking deals, controlling F&I, and supporting the sales team.
- You understand dealership P&Ls, stock turn dynamics, used car reconditioning controls, and the importance of rapid lead response times.
- You lead from the front. You don't just tell people what to do—you jump on the floor, show them how to handle objections, and build a high-performing team culture.
- Sound understanding of FCA regulations, finance structuring, and dealership compliance routines.
