Breakfast and /or After School Club Playworker

7.5 hours (Breakfast Club) / 17.5 hours (After School Club) per week, term time only, 38 weeks per year
We are looking for an enthusiastic Playworker to join our friendly team and assist in the delivery of a range of high quality recreational and educational activities for children attending our breakfast and/or after school club.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to build positive relationships with children and colleagues, and contribute towards providing a fun, safe environment.
Duties will include the support and supervision of children attending the provision and promoting their general care and welfare. Previous experience working with, or supporting young children between 4 – 11 years, would be advantageous although not essential as training will be provided.
We have two roles available:
Breakfast Club Playworker
We are looking for someone to work 5 sessions per week for the breakfast club—Monday-Friday from 7:20–8:50 am. The actual salary for 7.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum, is £4 163.
And/or
After-School Club Playworker
We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday from 2:45–6:15 pm. The actual salary for 17.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum, is £9 715.
Both roles can be done together as a combined position, or they can be split into two separate roles for the right candidates. Please indicate in your application which role(s) you are interested in
