Our new, clean, bright 63,000 sq. Ft site in Heywood, Lancashire is the largest containment factory in the northwest, just minutes from the M66 and M62. We have invested £1m in our facility, with state-of-the-art machinery and great staff facilities including showers, canteen, and plenty of on-site parking.
Envair Technology have been manufacturing world class clean air and containment equipment for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries since 1972. Our mission is to engineer controlled environments that keep people and products safe from airborne hazards.
Our products, including isolators, laminar airflow cabinets and microbiological safety cabinets, are used to prepare chemotherapy treatments for cancer patients, discover new therapies for Alzheimer’s or test samples in hospitals. It means you’ll always finish the day feeling you’ve contributed to something valuable, supporting our NHS and private hospitals throughout Europe.

We are currently looking for a welder to join us in Heywood working within a growing team.

. Annual salary up to £31,000
. Hours are Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm and Friday 7am – 1pm

Your role includes:
· Undertake light gauge fabrication work using Mild Steel to produce a range of Fume Cupboards and Enclosures.
· Using MIG Welding.
· Follow technical drawings
· Standard MIG test to be completed as part of the application process
· 3 Years minimum experience within sheet metal welding and assembly
What we are looking for:
· Proven experience in the trade
· Excellent MIG welding skills
· TIG welding experience is preferable but not essential
· An ability to fabricate/weld to drawings and acceptable tolerances
· Experience in working in a fast-moving manufacturing business
· Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and to multitask
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Have a high concern for standards, taking real pride in your work
