About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, hands-on Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead our F&B and hotel operations. This pivotal role reports directly to the General Manager and oversees the full F&B team while also contributing to the wider hotel operation including events, reception, housekeeping, sales, and function delivery.
You will be a key leader in the business - ensuring our F&B offering is exceptional, our hotel operations run smoothly, and stepping in as Acting General Manager when required.

What You’ll Be Doing
Food & Beverage Leadership
· Lead, motivate and manage the full F&B team across bar, restaurant and back-of-house operations.
· Maintain exceptional food and drink standards, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation excellence.
· Oversee service delivery, ensuring every guest receives warm, personalised hospitality.
· Drive food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance across all F&B areas.
· Manage stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships as required.
· Support menu development, specials, promotions and seasonal concepts to enhance revenue.
Hotel Operations
· Work closely with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations.
· Support and supervise departments including reception, housekeeping, maintenance and sales.
· Manage the smooth delivery of events, conferences, weddings and private functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
· Assist with room occupancy management, rates, guest satisfaction metrics and operational efficiency.
Leadership & Management
· Act as Duty Manager and serve as Acting General Manager during periods of GM absence.
· Train, coach and develop team members across multiple departments.
· Participate in recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
· Support financial performance through cost management, revenue generation and operational improvements.
· Implement service standards and drive a positive team culture aligned with the Savvy Fox style of hospitality.
Guest Experience
· Quickly handle and resolve guest queries or concerns.
· Lead by example with a visible, approachable presence across the property.
· Champion our warm, friendly and personal approach to service.
About You
· Proven supervisory or management experience in F&B, hospitality or hotel operations.
· Strong leadership abilities - capable of building, developing and inspiring teams.
· A strong understanding of food service, bar operations and hospitality standards.
· Experience with events, conferences or function coordination is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication skills and a confident, guest-focused approach.
· Highly organised with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
· A proactive problem solver who thrives on taking ownership and driving improvement.
· Able to work a varied rota across 5 days per week, with shifts typically scheduled between 6am and 11pm, including weekends and public holidays. On occasion, functions or events may require working up to 4am, advance notice will be provided for these shifts.
