Mulholland Contracts Ltd are looking for an experienced Mobile Small Plant Fitter to support our growing operations across the Central Belt and beyond.
You’ll be working independently from a fully equipped service van, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and breakdowns both on-site and at our West Calder workshop.
What You’ll Work On
- Dumpers & Rollers
- Wacker Plates & Rammers
- Petrol & Diesel Small Plant
- Engines: Honda, Yanmar, Kubota, Hatz, Stihl
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose & repair mechanical faults
- Routine servicing & inspections
- Attend on-site breakdowns
- Complete job reports accurately
- Maintain a clean, professional service van
- Liaise with workshop & site teams
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Plant Mechanic
- Strong mechanical & fault-finding skills
- Solid knowledge of petrol & diesel engines
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Welding / fabrication experience
- Electrical diagnostics knowledge
- NVQ / City & Guilds (or equivalent)
