Job Overview
We are seeking a practical and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of facilities, machinery and operational equipment. You will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, support technicians and contractors, and help ensure equipment remains reliable, safe and efficient. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving maintenance processes and taking responsibility for keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance for facilities, machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance technicians, contractors and service providers.
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and coordinate effective repairs.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders and equipment documentation.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with health, safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance management, engineering, facilities or industrial operations.
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Experience supervising technicians or contractors.
- Good troubleshooting, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.
Pay: £40,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
