Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to management promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times while representing the company
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of different cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to established procedures
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and consistently
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
