Healthcare Assistant
Location: Ryton, NE40
Hours: 12–16 hours per week (flexible)
Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 4 days off
About the role
E2E Homecare Ltd is recruiting a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a client recovering from a stroke in the Ryton (NE40) area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual in their own home, helping them regain independence while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Duties include:
* Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
* Assisting with mobility and promoting independence.
* Supporting with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
* Administering or prompting medication (where trained).
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any changes in the client’s condition.
What we’re looking for:
* A caring, compassionate and reliable individual.
* Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
* Right to work in the UK.
Hours and flexibility
This role is based on a 3 days on, 4 days off rota, offering 12–16 hours per week. We are also happy to discuss fewer contracted hours for applicants who wish to ensure their working hours do not affect other payments or commitments.
