The Company: King Cole is a leading supplier of knitting yarn and haberdashery with associated products to the independent retail sector. The company is a leader of new designs and yarns within the industry.
Due to a continued busy period, we require someone to join our day shift on a fixed-length contract. This shift operates from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am to 3:30pm on a Friday (39 hours per week). This role will be until 31 December 2026.
The Role: You will contribute to the smooth running of the warehouse, with particular focus on:
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Being well-organised, have good attention to detail and able to work independently
- Adhering to health and safety
- General warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
- The use of common warehouse management software
Full training will be provided to all workers. The main skills required are accuracy and attention to detail. Heavy lifting is not part of this role.
