We’re looking for a friendly, confident and experienced Dog Groomer to join the team at Sal’s Pals Dog Care.
Our grooming salon is based within our busy dog care centre in Kirknewton, with an established client base.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs, takes pride in their grooms and is comfortable working independently within the salon while still being part of our wider Sal’s Pals team.
The role
You’ll be carrying out a range of grooming services including:
- Full grooms Bath and blow dries De-shedding Nail trims Puppy introductions General coat and skin care
You’ll also be responsible for keeping the salon clean, organised and welcoming and providing a friendly experience for our clients and their dogs.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has professional dog grooming experience Holds a recognised dog grooming qualification Is confident handling a variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments Has excellent animal handling and welfare standards Can work independently and manage their grooming day Is reliable, friendly and comfortable chatting with clients Takes real pride in the quality of their work
Most importantly, we want someone who is kind and patient with the dogs in their care. Their welfare will always come before rushing through a groom.
