About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Joiner to join our growing team in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke joinery products from technical drawings and specifications, ensuring all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery products including bars, counters, retail units, and furniture.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Assemble, fit, and finish joinery components to a high standard.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or in a similar woodworking role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working with bespoke or high-end joinery products.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques and materials.
