We are interested in compassionate and dedicated Support/Care Workers to support our residents through person-centred support.
Main duties:
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents to help them live as independently as possible.
- Work with individuals according to their person-centred needs assessments and support plans.
- Assist residents in developing practical skills for daily living and independent living.
- Create, implement, and review person-centred support plans with residents on a 1-to-1 basis.
- Identify areas of need and support residents to achieve their personal goals.
- Document all support provided and regularly review progress.
- Work collaboratively with residents to promote positive outcomes and greater independence.
Experience:
- Experience supporting adults in a care or support role.
- Experience working in housing support, supported accommodation, or a similar setting.
Essential:
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
- Be on the DBS Update Service (needed for immediate start).
- Compassionate, patient, and non-judgemental approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents.
- Commitment to person-centred support and promoting independence.
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence & access to vehicle
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
