Management of running a Post Office and Convenience store in a popular NORFOLK village on the outskirts of NORWICH, NR13 4AB. Ideally would suit husband and wife team or a team of 2.
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Both positions are customer focussed so essential to have excellent customer service skills.
Honesty, Literacy, Numeracy, Reliability and punctuality are must requirements, tech knowledge is helpful. The ability to be flexible regarding work schedules, work roles is essential. Important that at least one person has a full clean driving license. You would need to have the RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK. But there is a possibility but not a guarantee that Sponsorship may be available from February/ March 2027, to potential candidates.
The post office role also involves serving customers with all the products provided by Post office using latest Horizon system, management of cash , value stock and ATM. You will be required to meet all relevant Compliance requirements and will also require to be vetted by Post office/DBS checked.
The shop management role will also involve ordering , filling , facing, date checking and making sure shop standards and cleanliness are maintained and to comply with all HASAW, trading standards, food hygiene and age related product sales law.
BOTH positions are offered on a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT and LONG TERM BASIS, and as such there is a possibility of a lovely 2 bedroom partly furnished house in a country mansion and the use of a car if required, as part of the package to the right applicants with full commitment. The salary is negotiable and will depend on experience etc.
