Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and personable experienced barber to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis in Tandragee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional and modern barbering techniques, a passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality barbering services including haircuts, fades, beard trims, and styling
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation and tools in line with health and safety standards
- Build rapport with clients and offer tailored grooming advice
- Manage appointments and walk-ins efficiently
- Handle payments and maintain accurate records (if required)
- Contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the barbershop
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barber in a professional setting
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Barbering (preferred but not essential if experienced)
- Excellent clipper and scissor skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
