Bendi FLT Driver
Job purpose
- Responsibility to unload and receive all inbound materials into site, from both external suppliers and other company stock locations, ensuring that computerised Warehouse Management System are updated and kept accurate, using handheld scanners.
- Movement of items around the site to feed production lines and maintaining accurate data records, through use of handheld scanners, using correct MHE.
- Ensure all goods being Despatched are suitable for onward shipment, and accurate records kept using the computerised Warehouse Management System, which is updated using handheld scanners.
- Pick at individual item level, where required, whilst maintaining accurate data records.
- Carry out PI counts across all locations as per the company PI Schedule. Accurate records are to be kept.

1. Inbound Deliveries
· Counterbalance FLT required
- Unload deliveries into site off inbound vehicles
- Store goods in a safe manner in the correct designated locations.
- Ensure all records are updated accurately, using handheld scanner and all paperwork is completed correctly and passed to the correct departments.
- Report any discrepancies to your Manager at the point of discovery.
- Adhere to all Star Brands procedures and policies.
2. Picking and Production Line Feeding
Bendi FLT and Counterbalance FLT required
- Ensure materials are picked and checked a minimum of 48hrs in advance of production.
- Keep accurate records of picking progress and maintain WMS accordingly.
- Ensure the correct items are fed to the correct lines so there are no stoppages of production due to running out of components.
- ransfer excess items from production runs back into warehouse stock, maintaining WMS accordingly.
- Pick labels at single item level, when required, and make accurate counts of returned items after jobs are completed. Maintain WMS records accordingly.
3. Outbound Trailer Loading
Counterbalance FLT required
- Ensure all pallets are correctly wrapped and labelled prior to loading on outbound vehicles.
- Scan all pallets out using a handheld scanner and ensure WMS data is kept accurate.
- Check all trailers are fit to load and load all vehicles safely.
- Ensure outbound stock is loaded in production date/time order wherever possible.
4. Other Duties
- Carry out PI checks as per the schedule.
- Assist colleagues in other areas as required.
- Contribute to the site continuous improvement plan, with both new ideas and working in new ways when asked.
- Maintain hygiene standards across all areas.
Night shift
Wednesday - Friday 18.00pm - 06.00am.
