Job Title: Bridal Consultant - MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & THURSDAYS
THIS IS A 1-2 DAY CONTRACT. 6.5-12.5hrs.
This position requires the applicant be available on Saturdays, Sundays & Thursdays.
To ensure brides have a memorable experience in store when visiting Brides in the City for a bridal appointment. To provide an attentive styling experience within the fitting rooms. To work as part of the Brides in the City team to deliver first class customer service to every customer. To contribute to the team in a way that helps the store run efficiently. To manage bridal appointments and follow ups.
Main Duties
- Delivering a unique bridal styling experience within the fitting rooms while being courteous and discreet.
- Listen to each bride and use styling skills to help find her dream dress.
- Process sales and customer orders
- Make sure the store is beautifully presented while maintaining the highest level of stock care
- Follow up with brides who have purchased products from Brides in the City to give updates on dress delivery times and updates on any delays that may occu
- To use customisation recommendations within the fitting rooms
- To ensure that dress deliveries are unpacked smoothly
- To ensure dresses are steamed and quality checked
- To ensure daily cleaning tasks are completed to maintain store standards
- To carry out all tasks while following health and safety guidelines
- To work as part of the team to ensure all brides are made to feel welcome and comfortable when visiting the store
- Be willing and happy to be on company social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook content as this is a huge part of the brand.
Please be aware that lifting wedding dresses and dressing brides in a fitting room environment is a physically demanding job and requires you to be able to do this easily. This job suits someone who enjoys staying active and being on their feet throughout the day and is extremely physically demanding. There are 3 fitting rooms upstairs in the store and you must be comfortable doing this.
