Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join a privately owned manufacturer of window blinds and curtain poles. This position is for a person who will help focus on expanding the customer base, market reach and revenue streams of the business; both in the UK and internationally.
This role offers a good package with opportunity for UNCAPPED commission based on new business, along with great career advancement opportunities. This role would suit a strong ‘hunter’ with a real appetite for new business.
Required experience:
- Experience working with and opening retail accounts, both UK and Internationally
- Private Label experience would be an advantage, but not essential
- FOB experience would be an advantage, but not essential
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to organisational expansion through strategic planning and innovative sales techniques. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.
Duties
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop customised proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, showcasing our products effectively.
- Collaborate with the wider business to create targeted approaches, that support business growth objectives.
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with organisational policies and targets.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for strategic improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales within a relevant industry sector.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present confidently at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that align with organisational goals.
- A proactive approach with a strong drive to achieve targets and expand market presence.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, marketing, or related fields are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
