Holiday Inn Express Wigan are looking for a Part Time Guest Service Assistant for evenings (includes weekends).
Being a Guest Service Assistant means being the person who makes our guests feel welcomed and pleased with their choice of accommodation. It means taking and showing pride in your hotel and delivering a great guest experience consistently. You may be the first person a guest encounters at our hotel so you’ll need to be friendly, professional and confident. Guest Service Assistant's are the beating heart of our hotel and get involved in everything from serving at the bar, assisting in the kitchen and welcoming guests on check in, as well as ensuring our housekeeping and maintenance teams are aware of any issues, so you’ll be great at juggling tasks and turning your hand to many different things.
We’re looking for individuals who can really shine in a busy setting, who are comfortable and confident in meeting and engaging with new people and who have a passion for great customer service. Practices and processes can be taught, but pzazz is what comes naturally to our staff and is what makes them and our Hotel team special!
You will split your time between anything from serving food and drinks to customers in our bar and restaurant area, helping in the kitchen, as well as reception and other duties.

Bar, restaurant and / or kitchen experience would be an advantage, but not essential
Reception/hotel experience an advantage, but not essential
The majority of shifts will be between 3pm and 11pm, including weekends
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
