Overview
Cytronex is an award winning British Manufacturer in the ebike industry, with a newly refurbished premises in central Winchester. We are offering a great opportunity to a skilled electronic and mechanical assembly technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation and experience with assembly processes in a manufacturing environment, where soldering experience is essential and welding an advantage. The position is versatile and would suit someone who is flexible and willing to take on new challenges, with a varied working day. Duties
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components and systems according to detailed specifications written in English
- Use of tools to accurately complete assembly tasks
- soldering and through-hole soldering a necessity
- Conduct quality checks on assembled parts to ensure compliance with standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly processes
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used
Requirements
- Proven electronic and mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical instructions
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Previous experience in assembly roles, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in a customer facing role an advantage, or happy to learn.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving processes
