Kabilsgrillz is one of the UK’s leading custom grillz and jewellery companies, specialising in luxury grillz, diamond pieces, pendants, rings, custom designs and high-end jewellery work.
We are looking for an experienced Micro Diamond Setter who can work to a very high standard and set diamonds into both hard and soft metals. This is not a trainee role. We need someone who already has strong experience and can produce clean, tight, secure setting work.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled setter who can confidently set diamonds and stones into hard metals such as platinum and stainless steel, as well as softer metals used in grillz and jewellery, including gold, silver, dental silver and other jewellery alloys.
You must understand how to set stones tightly, cleanly and securely across different styles and designs. The work will include grillz, custom jewellery, pendants, rings and luxury bespoke pieces.
Main Responsibilities
Setting diamonds and stones into grillz, jewellery, pendants, rings and custom pieces.
Working with hard metals including platinum and stainless steel.
Working with softer metals including gold, silver, dental silver and jewellery alloys.Producing tight, clean and secure stone setting.
Setting stones in different styles, including:
Micro pavé setting
Pavé setting
Prong setting
Flush setting
Channel setting
Bezel setting
Invisible-style setting where required
Custom diamond layouts
Reading and understanding CAD designs, stone layouts and production instructions.
Making sure stones are secure and do not move or become loose.
Checking symmetry, spacing, stone height and overall finish.
Working carefully on small, detailed pieces.
Maintaining a luxury standard on every job.
Working with the production team to meet deadlines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
Proven experience as a diamond setter, micro setter or jewellery stone setter.
Experience setting diamonds into hard metals such as platinum and stainless steel.
Experience working with softer jewellery metals such as gold, silver and dental silver.
Strong knowledge of different setting styles.
Ability to create tight, secure settings.
Experience with micro pavé and small stone work.
Very good attention to detail.
Steady hands and strong patience for precision work.
Ability to work under pressure without dropping quality.
Ability to follow CAD designs and stone placement instructions.
A professional attitude and good timekeeping.
Experience with grillz is preferred, but strong jewellery setting experience will also be considered.
Pay & Benefits
Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 per year depending on experience and skill level.
Higher pay is available for exceptional setters who can prove they can work to a high standard with micro pavé, platinum, stainless steel, gold, silver and grillz.
