Vehicle Paint Sprayer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear
Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30
Pay Rate: £16.88-£19.21 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
Are you a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer with experience in an automotive bodyshop setting? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Working on behalf of one of the leading automotive companies in the UK, successful candidates will be painting a range of vehicles within a busy and fast-paced bodyshop environment.
The Role:
Within the Vehicle Paint Sprayer role, you will be responsible for the below tasks:
- Painting vehicles and panels to a high standard
- Completing full resprays and panel repairs, including bumpers, wings, doors, and bonnets
- Mixing and colour matching paints
- Carrying out daily checks and maintenance of spray booth equipment
- Ensuring vehicles are correctly masked and prepared prior to painting
- Undertaking any final preparation work required before paint application
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets
The Person:
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer within an automotive bodyshop is essential
- Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of vehicle paint application techniques
- Must have own air-fed mask and spray guns
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced workshop environment
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
