About Arcadia
Arcadia by Utopian is a relaxed, independent bar and eatery in the heart of Exeter, created by Utopian Brewing.
We opened our doors in March 2025 as Utopian’s first wholly owned venue, bringing together everything we love about hospitality under one roof.
We’re all about good food, great beer and even better people.
Our menu focuses on locally sourced, globally inspired small plates and sharing dishes, alongside our Sunday roasts. Behind the bar, we have a constantly changing selection of Utopian beers and beers from our independent brewery friends, meaning there’s always something new for our guests to discover.
And we’re proud to have already been recognised as Bar of the Year.
The Role
As part of our Front of House team, you’ll be a big part of what makes Arcadia what it is.
You’ll be welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, looking after tables and making sure everyone who walks through our doors has a great experience.
But Front of House is about more than just serving people.
It’s about making guests feel welcome, knowing your menu, talking about the beers, helping create the atmosphere and being part of the team that makes Arcadia tick.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing and genuinely enjoys talking to people
- Passionate about hospitality
- Reliable and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- A team player who is happy to get stuck in
- Interested in food, drink and learning new things
- Experienced in hospitality or simply keen to learn
