Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Term Time Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young children during their formative years, supporting their learning and development in a lively, caring setting. The ideal candidate will bring energy and a passion for early childhood education to help create a safe and stimulating environment for every child.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Support children’s emotional well-being and individual needs with patience and understanding.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members through clear communication and teamwork.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead by example in promoting good behavior, respect, and cooperation among children.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery’s curriculum by sharing ideas and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young children’s growth and learning.
