Part-Time Housekeeper – The Shoregate, Crail
Pay: £13.75 per hour
The Shoregate, Crail, opened in spring 2022 and has brought a new lease of life to a beautifully restored restaurant, bar, and four-bedroom guesthouse in the heart of this charming fishing village. Since opening, we have earned fantastic reviews and built a reputation for quality food, drink, accommodation, and warm hospitality.
With a busy season ahead, we are now looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team.
A successful hospitality business is only as good as its housekeeping team, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment for our guests. Whether you have years of experience or are looking to return to work for a few shifts a week, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
You will help maintain the high standards our guests expect by:
- Preparing accommodation rooms to an immaculate standard before guest arrivals
- Maintaining cleanliness across public areas
- Assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties
- Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues
- Providing friendly and professional guest service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not essential

Please Note
- Shifts are usually between 3 and 6 hours
- Applicants should live within a 20–30 minute drive of Crail or be located on the 95 bus route
