Overview
We are seeking a Part 2 Scaffolders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Scaffolding techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
Duties
- Interpreting blueprints or work plans to determine scaffolding requirements.
- Inspecting the site to assess access points, ground conditions, and hazards.
- Building scaffolds using tubes, boards, and fastening systems (e.g., couplers).
- Assembling scaffolds to required height and strength standards.
- Ensuring scaffolding is level, stable, and secure.
- Following strict safety protocols and regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE).
- Installing safety netting, guard rails, toe boards, and fall protection as needed.
- Regularly inspecting scaffolding for damage or instability.
- Carefully taking down scaffolds when work is complete.
- Storing or transporting equipment properly.
- Checking scaffolding components for wear or damage.
- Replacing or repairing damaged parts promptly.
- Working closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.
- Communicating effectively to ensure timelines and safety standards are met.
Skills
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
