Dental Wellness London is looking for an experienced dentist with a special interest in oral surgery and implant dentistry to join our fully private practice in Islington.
About the practice
We are a fully private dental, skin and wellness clinic in Islington, North London, with a strong local reputation and an established team of clinicians across dentistry and facial aesthetics. Surgical and implant referrals currently generated within the practice would come directly to you.
The role
- Build and lead the oral surgery and implant service within the practice
- Receive internal referrals from our general and cosmetic dentists: surgical extractions, implant placement and restoration, bone grafting where within your competence
- Manage cases end-to-end — consultation, planning, placement and restoration — with digital workflows and quality lab support
- Days are flexible and negotiable for the right candidate — part-time alongside an existing role works well for this position
- Full clinical freedom and a say in equipment and materials for the surgical service
About you
- Minimum 5 years' UK dentistry experience
- Confident in oral surgery, including surgical extractions
- Placing and restoring implants independently, with a portfolio of completed cases
- A postgraduate implant qualification (PGCert, PGDip or MSc in Implant Dentistry, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Comfortable receiving referrals and communicating clearly with referring colleagues and patients
Essential requirements
- Full GDC registration
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in UK dentistry
- Evidence of implant training and a log of placed/restored cases
- Current professional indemnity cover including implant and surgical procedures
- Hepatitis B immunity and enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK
