Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and personable Trade Counter Assistant to join our team at an independent local omnichannel retailer of trade tools, hardware, and accessories.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers at the trade counter.
The Role
- Providing excellent customer service at the trade counter, including greeting customers, answering queries, and assisting with product selections.
- Managing sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and processing payments efficiently.
- Supporting merchandising activities by organising displays, stock replenishment, and ensuring the shop floor remains tidy and inviting.
- Ensuring a clean & tidy storefront
- Merchandising and warehouse orders/click & collect
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable using a computer and picking up new tools
- Basic understanding of building/trades industries
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
