- Providing support, advice and assistance to those who have experienced domestic abuse or are at risk of domestic abuse.
- Co-ordinating providing enhanced security at client’s homes in Southampton through “target hardening” of the property and the provision of safety equipment.
- Focusing on preventing domestic abuse by providing enhanced security at client’s homes for victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
- Working collaboratively with existing target hardening schemes within the city including Southampton City Council’s Dove scheme and similar offers from other social landlords and The Blue Lamp Trust.
- Linking in where appropriate with relevant teams including but not limited to Southampton City Council’s Whole Housing Approach Co-ordinator.
- Ensuring children’s and vulnerable adults’ welfare in accordance with Stop Domestic Abuse’s Safeguarding Policy, the Southampton Children Board and the Southampton Safeguarding Adults Board policies and procedures.
