Duties
- Safely operate flatbed trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations efficiently
- Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption while ensuring timely arrivals
- Load, secure, and unload cargo with attention to safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Verify delivery details against invoices or delivery orders to ensure accuracy
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules or resolve issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents during transit
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial driving backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws applicable to commercial vehicles
- Prior experience handling delivery logistics in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with route planning tools or GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and operate loading equipment when necessary
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Class 2 Driving License and Vaild CPC Card
