We're looking for an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy housekeeper to look after three private family homes — in Tettenhall, Codsall, and Telford — on a regular weekly schedule. Each home is cleaned on its own set day, so this suits someone living locally with a manageable commute. This role would suit someone who takes pride in a precise, consistent routine and likes to keep a home running smoothly.
The basics
- Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly, with a pay review after a successful 3-month probation
- Hours: Around 16–22 hours per week across a regular, fixed weekly schedule, rising slightly on deep-clean weeks
- Locations: Tettenhall, Codsall, and Telford — each cleaned on a separate day
- Type: Employed (PAYE)
What you'll do
- Regular cleaning to a consistently high standard, including cleaning out fridges
- Ironing
- Unpacking and putting away shopping and deliveries
- Buying cleaning products and occasional food shopping (using a card we provide)
- On a rotating basis: deep cleans, oven cleaning, carpet cleaning, high-level cleaning, and reorganising and tidying living spaces
- Helping keep each home calm, clean, and well-ordered
Duties may vary over time within the scope of household cleaning and home help.
What we're looking for
- Solid housekeeping or cleaning experience, including deep cleans
- Someone who follows a routine precisely and consistently, and takes care over detail
- Comfortable around dogs (two large, friendly dogs live in one of the homes)
- Own transport and a full driving licence
- Reliable, discreet, and comfortable working alone in private homes
- Right to work in the UK
- Two contactable references, and willingness to undergo a DBS check
