We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy manager to join our management team. We are currently seeking passionate individuals to help maintain the smooth running of our nurseries. **About You** You are an able, enthusiastic, and natural leader - a people person who can effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, from employees to young children. With previous experience in leading staff, you will coach and mentor your team members to become valued contributors while creating a stimulating and playful environment tailored to the needs of each child. You will have a thorough understanding of all the standards and requirements that our nursery must adhere to, including the EYFS, Ofsted, and Health and Safety regulations. You will be flexible and collaborate with the manager and a large staff team to ensure these standards are consistently met.
We are looking for a happy, helpful team player with a passion for working with children and a drive to achieve outstanding practice. You will work with colleagues to implement positive changes within the nursery where necessary. You must demonstrate a commitment to children, considering their well-being, safeguarding, and development at all times. Building trusting relationships between parents, carers, children, the nursery team, and any other professionals working with us is crucial.
**About the Role** **You will need:** - A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above. - An excellent understanding of the EYFS and Ofsted inspection framework. - Experience in people management and resolving employee issues. - Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations. - Understanding of employment legislation, including equal opportunities. –
Full training in safeguarding and paediatric first aid. - Satisfactory DBS check. **Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern.** **Job Type: Full-time** **
