We are a successful family-run business, established in 1997, supplying customers across the glazing and building industry.
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Sales Executive to join our friendly team in Alton.
This is a varied internal sales role where you’ll work with existing customers, follow up enquiries and develop new business. You’ll build relationships, provide quotations, process orders and identify opportunities to grow customer accounts.
You don’t need experience in the glazing or building industry – full product and industry training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing
Your day will be varied and will include:
- Following up warm and inbound sales enquiries
- Speaking with existing customers and developing relationships
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Making outbound calls to potential customers
- Preparing quotations and processing orders
- Upselling and cross-selling where appropriate
- Following up quotations and turning opportunities into sales
- Working closely with purchasing and other internal teams
- Working towards individual sales targets
What we're looking for:
You don't need to be an industry expert or have years of sales experience.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable speaking to customers on the phone
- Friendly, professional and able to build rapport
- Commercially minded and motivated by achieving targets
- Proactive and willing to pick up the phone and create opportunities
- Organised and able to follow up on enquiries and quotations
- Resilient and able to deal positively with the occasional rejection
- A good team player who enjoys working with others
- Experienced in sales, customer service or a similar customer-facing role
Industry experience isn't required – we'll teach you our products, systems and market.
