Front of House Server – Sutton Bank Café
Join our café team in the stunning North York Moors!
We’re looking for an energetic, friendly Front of House Server to be the face of our hospitality. You’ll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest, delivering outstanding service and helping make every visit memorable.
Please note: This is a seasonal role, with more hours in summer and fewer in winter, perfect if you’re looking for flexibility and variety throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests with a smile, providing excellent customer service.
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, and manage table service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the café floor.
- Assist with stock rotation, restocking displays, and smooth daily operations.
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently.
- Promote menu items and communicate daily specials to guests.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
- Represent our brand values and the unique setting of the North York Moors.
Requirements
- Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience (1 year) is preferred.
- Barista-trained is desirable but not required.
- Must have a full, valid UK driving licence or a reliable means of transportation to reach work consistently.
- Passionate about delivering great service and creating a welcoming environment.
- Positive, reliable, and a strong team player.
- Comfortable working in a busy café environment.
- Flexible, proactive, and happy to support colleagues when needed.
