Ranmore Service & Engineering is one of the UK's foremost independent specialists in the servicing, restoration and engineering of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars. Alongside our established reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and engineering excellence, we are proud to be expanding our business with the addition of an exciting new Morgan franchise.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Specialist to lead our Parts Department, supporting our specialist workshop, restoration projects and the Morgan franchise. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, commercially aware individual who enjoys working with prestigious automotive brands and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operation of the Parts Department, ensuring the efficient supply of components to the workshop and customers.
- Source, order and supply parts for servicing, repairs, restoration projects and vehicle preparation across Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Morgan vehicles.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and specialist parts providers.
- Develop and manage stock control procedures, inventory levels and parts storage to maximise efficiency and availability.
- Support the launch and ongoing growth of the Morgan franchise by ensuring the timely procurement and supply of genuine Morgan parts and accessories.
- Work closely with workshop technicians and service advisors to ensure projects progress without unnecessary delays.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiencies, reduce costs and develop additional parts sales.
- Promote and upsell genuine parts, accessories and lifestyle products where appropriate.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times and pricing to ensure the business receives the highest levels of service.
- Maintain accurate records using dealer management and inventory systems.
- Ensure the Parts Department operates to the highest standards of organisation, professionalism and customer care.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Parts Advisor or Parts Specialist within the automotive industry.
- Possesses excellent knowledge of automotive parts systems and supplier networks.
- Has outstanding organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Is commercially minded and able to identify opportunities to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Communicates confidently with customers, suppliers and workshop colleagues.
- Can prioritise workloads in a busy specialist environment.
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team while being equally capable of managing their own workload.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Morgan or other prestige automotive brands.
- Knowledge of classic vehicle parts sourcing and restoration projects.
- Experience working within specialist automotive engineering or restoration businesses.
- Familiarity with manufacturer parts catalogues and dealer management systems.
- A genuine enthusiasm for heritage, luxury and performance motor cars.
