We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at our brand-new, purpose-built Huddersfield self storage facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing site from the very beginning and contribute to its continued success.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines sales, customer service, and administration. You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, helping them find the right storage solutions while delivering a friendly and professional experience at every stage.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop and succeed in the role.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who:
- Have experience in retail, sales, or customer service (preferred but not essential)
- Are confident, approachable, and professional
- Enjoy working towards sales targets
- Have good communication and basic administrative skills
- Are organised and able to manage a varied workload
- Can work independently when required, including occasional lone working
- Are flexible to work weekends as part of a 5-day working week (store hours are 8:00am–6:00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am–4:00pm Saturdays and Sundays)

The Role
Sales & Customer Service
- Responding to customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Converting enquiries into storage customers
- Promoting additional products and services such as packaging supplies and insurance
- Ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently
- Logging and following up enquiries accurately
Administration & Store Support
- Assisting with general administrative duties and record keeping
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the store
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Presenting retail products effectively to maximise sales opportunities
- Reporting any maintenance or equipment issues as required
