Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor manual work and a keen interest in building and enhancing gardens. This role involves various tasks related to garden construction including the use of hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in landscape construction to include, paving, fencing, retaining walls, timber work driveways and turfing
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or other plants as required.
- Build and maintain garden features such as paths, patios, or retaining walls.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Experience
- Previous experience in general labouring either construction or landscaping
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment upkeep is beneficial.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is essential.
- Physical fitness is required as the role involves manual labour, including lifting and digging.
