Curtain Wall Fixer – Wandsworth SW18 4UH (London)

Rate: £20 - £24 an hour, Rate is negotiable, depending on experience and ability
Job Type: Full time - 50 Hours a week, Monday to Friday.
START DATE: Immediate start
We are looking for an experienced Curtain Wall Fixer to start ASAP in a job in Wandsworth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out curtain walling systems from drawings and site information
- First fix support brackets and associated components
- Install and secure mullions and transoms
- Check line, level and installation tolerances
- Install glazing units
- Complete associated finishing works
- Read and interpret construction and manufacturer's drawings
- Complete installations to the required quality and specification
- Work safely in accordance with site RAMS and procedures
- Work effectively alongside supervisors and other trades
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous curtain wall installation experience
- Experience setting out curtain walling systems
- Experience installing support brackets, mullions and transoms
- Glazing experience
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Valid CSCS card
- NVQ in Curtain Wall Installation is desirable but not essential
- Able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner and work as part of a team
- Open to attending training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge
