We currently have vacancies for Multidrop Van Delivery Drivers to supply Central Scotland & the Lothians from our Mark Murphy Edinburgh site.
If you do not currently have a valid CPC but wish to progress to drive up to 7.5tonnes, then we offer supported training where you earn while you learn.
Job Description:
The job involves making multidrop fresh produce deliveries to our customers across our delivery areas and often direct interaction with our clients. You will be fully trained and introduced to customers by an experienced driver. You will be paired with an experienced driver as part of the training process, before you are ready to go out on your own. By the very nature of the job heavy lifting is involved. You will be the face of the company so a professional demeanour, smart appearance and positive attitude will be required. Early starts are required every shift.
Hours: 42 hours (38 hours week 1, 46 hours week 2 on rota) 3-5 am start depending on route covered
Salary: £28,392

Job Requirements:
· To check your vehicle daily for defects paying due care and attention to this process.
· To load your vehicle diligently, checking every item on against the paperwork provided.
· To unload your vehicle at customers premises, checking each item and handling with upmost care.
· Pre chill the vehicle to the required standards.
· Ensure the vehicle load compartment is maintained in a hygienic condition and associated records are kept up to date.
· Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
· To communicate effectively with co-workers and customers, flagging and dealing with potential problems as and when they occur.

Schedule:
- Dayshift, 5/6 days per week
- Sunday to Thursday & every second Friday or, Monday to Friday & every second Saturdays
- Fixed days off (depending on agreed schedule)
