Role Purpose
As the primary point of contact for many potential customers, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will guide prospects through their initial engagement, identifying the specific value our technology provides. Building these early-stage relationships is fundamental to ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities, empowering the sales team to achieve their revenue targets. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, receiving comprehensive support and the necessary tools to succeed in this pivotal role. We are a lean, fast-paced team, so the successful candidate will need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting to shifting priorities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will research, identify and engage with potential customers and progress inbound leads through multiple channels, including telephone, email, and our supporting technology stack, to initiate the discovery and sales process. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to stay informed of the latest developments and features, successfully articulating these value propositions to potential clients.
Essential Requirements
- Educated to Degree level or 2 years plus outbound sales experience.
- Experience in successfully delivering against agreed sales targets or other agreed deliverables.
- Understands the sales process and the role sales plays in a commercial environment.
- Be a curious person who can ask probing questions
- Comfortable learning how our software works and explaining those benefits to others in simple terms.
- A confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Can make data driven decisions and confidently defend them.
- Demonstrate professional courage and influence
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and results driven
- Computer literate and comfortable with technology.
- Demonstrate a desire for learning, especially technically complex concepts.
- Highly resilient, flexible, and persistent, who can also work under pressure
- A willingness to attend events, expo’s, and to undertake occasional travel, including international travel.
Desirable Requirements
- Degree in science, mathematics, or business.
- Experience with systems such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other common SDR tools is advantageous
- Previous sales experience within a SaaS environment
- Experience or knowledge in data science, machine learning, or software development (e.g., Python, R) is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with established sales qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, BANT, SPIN) is preferred

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
