Job Overview
We are seeking assembly operatives to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess some mechanical knowledge and experience in assembling components using both hand and power tools. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. The Assembler will work in a warehouse environment, contributing to the efficient production of our goods.
Duties
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
- Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during assembly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Monday to Friday ongoing work with early finish Friday.
