We're looking for a passionate, experienced and driven Nursery Manager with a wealth of experience in the Early Years Sector to join our expanding small chain of family focussed nurseries in the Birmingham & Solihull areas.
Established in 2013, we currently comprise of two, soon to be 3 nurseries, in the Springfield, Hall Green & Solihull areas.
This is a an exciting opportunity to lead our Hall Green setting, and for the right candidate, will be a fulfilling and rewarding position in a family centred organisation.
We have an option to either work 45 weeks or 51 weeks a year, in addition to offering the opportunity to work a 4 day week. So you've got plenty of time to live a life outside of work.
What is the role of an AppleKids Nursery Manager?
Day to day, our Nursery Managers oversee the smooth operation of our settings, providing inspirational leadership, nature inspired early years education and first class care to our children and families. Managers are responsible for ensuring that the nursery and the staffing team are compliant with the statutory framework, and the implementation of the EYFS.
Our learning environments are unique, as well as our vision and values. We believe in empowering our managers by providing the training and knowledge they need for their role, and supporting with their professional development.
As a Nursery Manager, you will have the responsibility of enhancing the learning environments, delivering an ambitious bespoke curriculum unique to AppleKids and providing training and support to your staffing team.

What do we require?
- Extensive experience of Nursery Management (5+ years is desirable)
- Proven track record - show us you've been there & done it
- A passion and desire to grow the AppleKids brand together
- Ability and knowledge of managing occupancy and meeting FTE targets
- Experience of managing budgets and financial spending for settings
- A passion for training and developing educators knowledge and skills
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator (or full and relevant equivalent early years qualification)
- Impeccable knowledge of the EYFS and statutory framework
- An eye for detail and high standards
