We’re supporting a well‑established training provider who are looking for an experienced Lead Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to take ownership of its internal quality assurance processes across apprenticeship and technical training provision.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality‑driven professional with strong experience in IQA leadership, engineering education and awarding‑body compliance.
The Role
- Organise, maintain and continuously improve internal quality assurance processes
- Ensure assessment decisions are fair, valid, reliable and consistent
- Support and mentor IQAs, assessors and trainers
- Lead standardisation, sampling and quality improvement activity
- Ensure compliance with awarding bodies including EAL, City & Guilds, ECITB, TWI, JTL (CompEx) and Pearson
- Embed a strong quality culture across the organisation
- Work closely with curriculum and delivery teams to maintain high standards
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised Level 4 IQA qualification (or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification
- Engineering trade qualification at Level 3 or above
- Significant experience as an IQA within a training provider environment
- Strong knowledge of awarding‑body requirements and external quality assurance
- Experience leading standardisation and quality improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident using IT systems and digital tools
