Electrician – Subcontract Basis – Nationwide / Working Away

AMGLO Electrical Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable electrician to work with us on a self-employed/subcontract basis, carrying out projects in Bristol and throughout the UK.
We carry out commercial, industrial and domestic electrical work, including projects within care homes, mental health facilities, schools and other commercial premises.
Working away from home is an important requirement of this position. Our projects are located throughout the UK, so applicants must be willing and able to travel and stay away when required.
The Work
● Commercial and industrial electrical installations
● Refurbishment projects
● Lighting and emergency lighting
● Small power installations
● Distribution boards
● Cable containment
● Fault finding and remedial works
● Testing and inspection where suitably qualified
● Working within occupied care, healthcare and commercial environments
Requirements
● Fully qualified electrician
● Current 18th Edition
● NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
● Valid ECS/CSCS card
● Good commercial electrical experience
● Own tools
● Full UK driving licence
● Appropriate Public Liability Insurance
● Registered for CIS
● Reliable and professional
● Able to work independently and as part of a team
● High standard of workmanship
● Must be genuinely willing to work away from home when required
2391 Inspection & Testing would be an advantage but is not essential.
Working Away
Accommodation will be arranged and paid for by AMGLO Electrical Services Ltd when working away, with any additional working-away arrangements agreed prior to the project.
