We are seeking a dedicated Live-in Support Care Worker to provide compassionate assistance to children within a family setting. Duties
- Provide daily care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Assist with organising and implementing personalised care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Support children with educational activities and recreational pursuits to promote development
- Escort children to educational studies, appointments, or activities as required, ensuring punctuality and safety
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding daily routines and any concerns
- Assist with household tasks related to childcare, such as meal preparation and light tidying of children's areas
- Monitor children's behaviour and provide emotional support when necessary
- Keep detailed records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents in accordance with care plans
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or in childcare roles is highly desirable
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record is preferred for transporting children safely
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with family members and external professionals
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records, updating care plans, and communicating via digital platforms
- Ability to work independently within a supportive environment during designated days
- Compassionate nature with patience, adaptability, and organisational skills
- Must be willing to commit to the Monday to Thursday schedule on a live-in basis
