As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Warehouse & Assembly Operative to join our operations team.
The Role
As a Warehouse & Assembly Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are assembled to the highest standards and prepared for delivery to customers across the UK. This is a varied, hands-on position combining furniture assembly with warehouse duties, stock handling, and dispatch preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling office furniture accurately and efficiently to company quality standards.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Wrapping and palletising products to ensure safe transportation.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
- Receiving and checking incoming stock and reporting any discrepancies.
- Organising and maintaining warehouse stock locations.
- Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Carrying out quality checks on assembled products before dispatch.
- Working closely with the production and logistics teams to meet daily deadlines.
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good practical skills with the ability to use hand and power tools.
- A reliable, hardworking individual with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
- A forklift licence would be advantageous, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
