Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Location: Onsite at manufacturing site – Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Work Times: 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday to Friday). A degree of flexibility will be needed at peak periods.

Role Overview
In this role, you will be carrying out breakdown, planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of
production machinery plus assist SHD Engineering in the building of converting machines.
Key Responsibilities
· Working in accordance with the company Quality and Health and Safety procedures at all times.
· Responsible for the safe installation and upkeep of all main production and auxiliary equipment.
· Deliver fast, effective electrical fault finding by investigating the root cause and
identify and implement preventative solutions making sure that the Production Manager is
informed if a shutdown is required and that all plant and equipment is safe prior to handing
back to production team.
· Ensure the spares inventory is correctly identified and located in the correct location.

· Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working
offering possible solutions to problems encountered wherever possible
· regular site walks to assess any possible required maintenance
Skills & Experience Required
· Good understanding of English and Maths.
· The ability to work within a team and work without supervision once trained.
· Clear and effective communicator.
· Recognised electrical qualification – City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Certificate & City &
Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. (Essential).
· Maintenance experience on a range of production machinery.
· Fault find ability on electrical breakdowns.
· Experience in the installation of new lines.
· Knowledge of inverter drives.
· Ability to read electrical drawings and complete control panels from these drawings
