Electrician – Full-Time Position
Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas, with occasional work in London, Cambridge, Bedford and Milton Keynes

About Us
All-Tech Electrical & Mechanical Ltd is a growing NICEIC, MCS, F-Gas and Gas Safe accredited contractor. We deliver domestic and commercial electrical, mechanical, renewable-energy and air-conditioning projects.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Electrician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- New electrical installations, rewiring and alterations across domestic and commercial projects.
- Fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance.
- Inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations.
- Installation of consumer units, distribution boards, switchboards and Ryefield boards.
- Electrical wiring for air-conditioning systems, including power supplies, isolators, protective devices and interconnecting wiring.
- Electrical work associated with heat pumps, solar PV systems, battery storage and EV chargers.
- Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671, current regulations and company health and safety procedures.
- Completing job sheets, test results and other required documentation.
- Communicating professionally with customers, site managers and other trades.
Ideal Candidate
- BS 7671 18th Edition qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing qualification, or willingness to obtain it.
- Minimum five years of practical electrical experience.
- Good knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical installations.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
Experience with air-conditioning systems and heat pumps would be beneficial; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
