Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team, you must be 18 and above for this position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering memorable experiences, possess a friendly demeanour, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar
- Prepare and mix cocktails, as well as handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
- Assist in setting up for events or private functions when required
- Handle customer queries professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven hospitality experience or a strong interest in the food and beverage industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills and a personable attitude are essential for creating positive guest interactions
